Updates to Kitts Creek Forums

In an effort to make using the forums more seamless, here are some helpful hints:

  • If you go to http://kittscreek.org/forum/ , and click on the RSS link you can get (in your browser) a "live bookmark" showing the latest posts/activity in the forums. That means you don't need to visit the forums to see if there's been new activity!
  • Have a forum you're interested in, or particular discussion you are interested in? Go to the forum and click on the "subscribe forum" link, or view a discussion and click on the "subscribe topic" link (both links will be at the bottom of the page). You'll be automatically notified via email of new posts in that forum! (you can always unsubscribe using the same process)
  • The main page of kittscreek.org has a list of recent forum posts/topics.

As always, if you need access to homeowner-only portions of the forums, send an email to register@kittscreek.org with your forum userid and lot number/address and we will grant you the appropriate access.

As our community grows, and the volume of information shared increases, you should (hopefully) find that the forums provide you a fast and easy way to see what is happening without being a party to discussions that might not be of interest to you.

Drainage/Common Area Issues

A thread has been opened in the Kitts Creek forums (http://kittscreek.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=967) to track issues related to drainage and/or community property.

The thread was created in response to a request from Preston Development at the HOA meeting. They requested that we put together a list of issues related to the development of the community that they could review and address.

If you have noticed issues with drainage, pooling, potholes, etc. please respond to the thread by posting a message. We will then use the responses to compile a list to send to the developer.

Please note that you must be a registered user in the forums (see the "New to Kitts Creek" box at the left for instructions on how to register) as the forum is a "Homeowner Only" forum (i.e., only homeowners have access to it).

Thank You

Movie w/ Book Club

Movie night will be Tuesday, December 15, at the Cheng house. We will be watching "The Family Stone", which hopefully should arrive in the mailbox from Blockbuster by then. Plan to gather around 7 pm, with the movie starting 7:30 or whenever we're ready. Light refreshments/beverages will be served. Feel free to bring some sort of snacky food item if you like, but it's not required. Please RSVP via this thread or private message so I can ensure proper seating. You do not have to be part of book club to attend! New members welcome.

Chris Cheng

I created an event to place on the calendar. If interested in seeing the movie, please email jeffandstef@gmail.com and I will relay your RSVP to Chris.

HOA Annual Meeting

Every Kitts Creek Resident should have gotten a letter in the mail earlier this week from the HOA representative Wilson Property Management. The letter stated that there will be the Annual Meeting schedule for Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 7pm at the Sales Center at Kitts Creek. The meeting is to discuss the upcoming year of 2010 operational expenses. Also the letter states that the dues will be $52/month. Preston Development will be attending the meeting.
